DTC P0125-00: Insufficient Coolant Temperature For Closed Loop Fuel Control: General Description
The Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS) monitors the coolant temperature. This input is used by the PCM for engine control and as enabling criteria for self-diagnostics. The air flow coming into the engine is accumulated and used to determine if the engine has been driven within conditions that would allow the engine coolant to reach normal operating temperature. If the coolant temperature does not reach normal operating temperature, diagnostics that use engine coolant temperature as enabling criteria, may not run when expected.
If the engine coolant temperature does not reach a predetermined operating temperature within the predetermined time to allow closed loop operation; the PCM then sets this DTC.
