DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the circuit (Check the open circuit and short circuit)
  • Poor Connector Connection
  • Shorted Sports Mode Switch Signal Circuit
  • Faulty Sports Mode Switch
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Condition
  • Engine Idle (over 400 RPM)
  • Normal Battery Voltage
Threshold Value
  • Sports Mode Switch "ON" when Gear is in "P", "R", or "N"
Fail Safe
  • Sports Mode Control Inhibited
Detecting Time
  • 2s
