Description & Operation: Description

  1. Power trunk drive unit (Trunk open)

    1. The trunk open switch operates. (Trunk outside handle switch, Crash pad switch, SMK trunk open button)
    2. The power trunk motor operates and motor gear rotates (A).
    3. The sector gear rotates (B).
    4. The drive arm connected to sector gear rotates (C).
    5. The push rod operates (D) in the direction of the arrow.
    6. The end of the push rod pushes up the trunk (E).

    2. The power trunk motor operates and motor gear rotates (A).
    3. The sector gear rotates (B).
    4. The drive arm connected to the sector gear rotates (C).
    5. The push rod operates (D) in the direction of the arrow.
    6. The end of the push rod pushes up the trunk (E).
