Repair Procedures: Removal

NOTE:
  • Do not install or carry a push rod, controller and wire harnesses by holding it with bare hands.
  • Be careful when removing the push rod, the trunk may close.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2. Remove the rear transverse trim.

    (Refer to Body - "REAR TRANSVERSE TRIM ")

  3. Remove the luggage side trim (A) after loosening the mounting bolt and clip.

  4. Separate the power trunk module connecting rod after loosening the mounting nut (A).

  5. Disconnect the power trunk module connector and drive unit connector (A).

  6. Remove the power trunk module & drive unit (A) after loosening the bolt and nuts.
