DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical Check
  • Short to ground in signal circuit
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty Fuel Level Sender
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 15V
  • Engine operating state out of start
Threshold Value
  • Fuel Level Signal is less than 0.14V
  • Short circuit to ground or open circuit
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
