Variant coding procedure

Ignition "OFF".
Connect KDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Ignition "ON".
Select "Vehicle S/W Management" on KDS.
Perform "Variant Coding" in "Vehicle S/W Management" with KDS.

Did the same DTC is stored in the system?
YES
- If no problems still occurs, replace MFC ECU and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- If problem still occurs after MFC ECU replacement, re-do this variant coding. Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
