DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Characteristic Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Faulty Upstream O2 Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Downstream O2 sensor operative readiness
  • Engine speed is higher than 600 RPM
  • Mass air flow is less than 83g/s (300kg/h)
  • Exhaust gas temp. is between 300°C (572°F) and 800°C (1472°F)
  • After fuel-cut, catalyst purge is not working
  • Stabilization Conditions
    • Absolute value (engine rpm-filtered engine rpm) is lower than 500 rpm
    • Absolute value (Air mass-filtered air mass) is lower than 0.4 g/rev (200mg/stk)
    • Absolute value (Lambda value-filtered lambda value) is less than 15%
Threshold Value
  • Plausibility between upstream and downstream
  • Upstream lean & downstream rich & lambda controller limit or upstream rich & downstrean lean & lambda controller limit
Diagnostic Time
  • 5 to 100s depending on intake air mass
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
