DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Sensor Current check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Damaged or corroded terminals
  3. HO2S (S1)
General Enable Conditions
  • Dew point end detected
  • Fuel feed back control active
  • Battery voltage is greater than 11V
  • Exhaust Gas temperature is 280°C (536°F) to 800°C (1472°F)
  • No injector error
  • No upstream O2 sensor heater error
Case1 Enable Conditions
  • S2 sensor voltage is greater than 0.5V
Threshold Value
  • S1 sensor voltage is 0.06V to 0.4V
Diagnostic Time
  • 25s
Case2 Enable Conditions
  • S2 sensor voltage is less than 0.1V
Threshold Value
  • S1 sensor voltage is 0.6V to 1.08V
Diagnostic Time
  • 10s
MIL ON Condition
  • 3 driving cycles

* S1: upstream oxygen sensor/S2: downstream oxygen sensor
