Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Open circuit
  3. Faulty VCMA
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Engine running
Threshold Value
  • Short to ground in VCM motor control circuit
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.4s.
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
