DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check during fuel cut off
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Faulty Upstream O2 Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Fuel cut off active greater than 3s
  • Sensor pump current valid
  • Sensor heater control: normal heating
  • Exhaust gas Temp. higher than 572°F (300°C)
  • Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
Threshold value
  • Upstream O2 sensor voltage higher than 12 mA and lower than 1 mA
Diagnosis Time
  • 2s
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
