Ground Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
- Refer to "FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE (FPCM) " and disconnect Fuel Control Module connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 9 (Ground) terminal of Fuel Control Module harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. below 1Ω
- Is measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in ground circuit of Fuel Control Module and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
