Shorted Circuit Inspection For BSD ECU (RH/LH) CAN Communication Line
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect BSD ECU (LH/RH) connector.
- Measure resistance of Pin No. 2 (L-CAN-HIGH) of BSD ECU (LH/RH) connector and chassis ground.
- Measure resistance of Pin No. 1 (L-CAN-LOW) of BSD ECU (LH/RH) connector and chassis ground.
Specification: ∞ Ω
- Is the measured resistance within specifications?
YES
- Go to next procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in CAN Communication line between BSD ECU (RH) and BSD ECU (LH) harness connector and then go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
- Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
