DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short to Battery or Open in TPS2 Signal Circuit
  • Open in TPS Ground Circuit
  • Faulty TPS2
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition Switch "ON"
Threshold Value
  • TPS2 signal voltage higher than 4.9V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
