DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical Monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open in Downstream O2 Sensor Signal Circuit
  • Open in Downstream O2 Sensor Ground Circuit
  • Faulty Downstream O2 Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Downstream O2 Sensor operative readiness detected (sensor element resistance < 1kΩ or heater max heating or normal heating for > 75s.)
  • Battery voltage higher than 10 V and lower than 16V
  • No relevant DTC present
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2 Sensor Element resistance more than 24 kΩ
Diagnostic Time
  • 2s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
