DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN signal monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short in M-CAN high line
  • Open or short in M-CAN low line
  • Faulty modules that connected to M-CAN
Enable Condition
  • Normal battery voltage status (battery voltage is 9 to 16V)
  • M-CAN bus is normal
Threshold Value
  • M-CAN line error is detected (short to ground or power, CAN high or low circuit mutual short)
Diagnosis Time
  • 2s
Symptom
  • M-CAN communication is impossible
Erase Condition
  • Erase with KDS after the failure solved
