Component Inspection: Notes
NOTE:
* Check before correction
- Refer to "BCW(BSD) Radar Calibration" in "REAR CORNER RADAR SYSTEM ", check the vehicle condition and whether the BCW unit or bracket is deformed (mounting angle, twisted vehicle body, etc.).
- Refer to "Correcting the BCW Angle" in "REAR CORNER RADAR UNIT ADJUSTMENT ", after replacing the BCW unit or bracket, with the bumper removed, use the BCW unit correction tool set to perform angle correction.
- After checking and correcting the BCW unit angle, perform the BCW radar correction procedure.
Inspection Procedure
- Check for proper installation of BCW radar and repair as necessary. (reference-Figure 1 below)
Good
- Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
No Good
- Repair as necessary and then go to "Vehicle S/W Management " procedure.
