Occupant Classification Sensor Unit

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
    WARNING: After disconnecting the cables, wait at least 30 seconds.
  2. Remove the passenger front seat assembly.

    (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

  3. Remove the occupant classification sensor unit.
  4. Remove the passenger front seat cushion assembly.

    (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER ")
