Smart Key Unit (SMK)

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2. Remove the knee airbag (KAB) module.

    (Refer to Restraint - "KNEE AIRBAG (KAB) MODULE ")

  3. Disconnect the connector (A) from the driver shower duct.
  4. Remove the driver shower duct (B) by loosening the screw.

  5. Disconnect the connectors (A) from the smart key unit.

  6. Remove the fixing clip (A) from the smart key unit wiring harness.

  7. Remove the smart key unit (A) by loosening the screw and nut.
