Open & Short Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect RPS Joint (CC23) connector.
- Ignition "ON".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 10 (Sensor Signal) terminal of RPS harness Joint (CC23) connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5V
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
