DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • S1, S2 signal circuit error in position sensor
  • Faulty the position sensor
  • Faulty the SCU
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON". (diagnose even when engine is "ON")
  • Battery voltage is greater than 10V
Threshold Value
  • Invalid range signal is detected (Sum of the position sensor's S1 and S2 signals is outside 97 to 103%)
Detecting Time
  • 4s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
