With ECS: 2WD

  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Remove the front wheel and tire.

    (Refer to Suspension System - "WHEEL ")

  3. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor connector (A).

  4. Disconnect the extension wiring connector (A).

  5. Disconnect the bracket (A) and then remove the extension wiring (B).

    Tightening torque: 

    8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)

  6. Remove the front hub bearing (front wheel speed sensor).

    (Refer to Driveshaft and axle - "FRONT HUB/KNUCKLE ")

  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
