Without ECS: 2WD

  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Remove the front wheel and tire.

    (Refer to Suspension System - "WHEEL ")

  3. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor connector (A).

  4. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor brackets (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 - 7.6 lb.ft)

    Tightening torque: 

    8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)

  5. Remove the LH front wheel guard.

    (Refer to Body - "FRONT WHEEL GUARD ")

  6. Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the extension wiring (B).

  7. Remove the front hub bearing (front wheel speed sensor).

    (Refer to Driveshaft and axle - "FRONT HUB/KNUCKLE ")

  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
