Repair Procedures: Replacement

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
Remove the rear wheel and tire.
(Refer to Suspension System - "WHEEL ")
Disconnect the EPB connector (A).

Loosen the guide rod bolts (A) and tie the caliper body (B) up with suitable wire to near part.
Tightening torque:

37.3 - 41.2 N.m (3.8 - 4.2 kgf.m, 27.5 - 30.4 lb.ft)

Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor (A).
Tightening torque:

6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 - 7.6 lb.ft)

Remove the rear wheel guard.
(Refer to Body - "REAR WHEEL GUARD ")
Disconnect the height sensor connector (A).
Disconnect the extension connector (B).
Remove the rear wheel speed sensor (C) by loosening the bracket mounting bolt.
Tightening torque:

8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)

Install in the reverse order of removal.
