Monitor DTC Status

- Connect the GDS and select "System" → "IGPM" → "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)".
- Click the "DTC Status" to check the DTC information.
- Read the "DTC Status" parameter, and Record all DTCs, DTC state and Freeze Frame Data.
- Is the same DTC set again?
YES
- Perform "Actuation Test" → "Bifunctional Head Lamp Output".
→ If it is normal, check for the intermittent Short-to-Ground in Bi-Function Head Lamp RH* circuit caused by corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
→ If it is abnormal, go to "WIRING INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- This can be SJB* memory was not cleared after repair.
→ Erase the DTCs, and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- This can be an intermittent fault caused by Poor Contact in Bi-Function Head Lamp RH*'s and/or SJB's connector.
→ Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
→ Repair or replace the harness/connector as necessary, and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NOTE: SJB*: "IGPM_IPS CONTROL MODULE"
Bi-Function Head Lamp RH*: "HEAD LAMP RH_Low" - Perform "Actuation Test" → "Bifunctional Head Lamp Output".
