Repair Procedures: Removal

[Gasoline 1.6] 

  1. Remove the under cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

  2. Remove the subframe.

    (Refer to Suspension System - "SUBFRAME ")

  3. Remove the propeller shaft (A).

    Tightening Torque: 

    49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m, 36.1 - 47.0 lb-ft)

  4. Remove the transfer assembly (B) after loosening the transfer mounting bolts (A).

[Gasoline 2.0] 

  1. Remove the under cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

  2. Remove the driveshaft axle of right side.

    (Refer to Driveshaft and Axle - "FRONT DRIVESHAFT ")

  3. Remove the propeller shaft (A).

  4. Remove the transfer assembly (B) after loosening the transfer mounting bolts (A).
