Power Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF".
- Refer to "ETC (ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL) SYSTEM " and disconnect Throttle Body connector.
- Ignition "ON".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 5 (TPS Supply) terminal of Throttle Body Sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5V
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "GROUND CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in power circuit between Throttle Body and ECM/PCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
