Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Faulty Fuel Level Sender
Enable Conditions
  • Cumulated Fuel Consumption more than 5.28 gal (20L) [30% of tank capacity]
  • Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
  • No relevant DTC present
Threshold Value
  • Filtered Fuel Tank Level signal change after 30% of tank capacity fuel consumption lower than 5%
Diagnostic Time
  • 30% fuel consumption
Mil On Condition
  • 2 * 30% fuel consumption
