DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Noisy Signal Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Short to Battery in Fuel Level Sender Signal Circuit
  3. Faulty Fuel Level Sender
Enable Conditions
  • Vehicle Speed higher than 22mph (35.4 km/h)
  • 200s after start
  • Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
Threshold Value
  • Difference between measured Fuel Tank Level and Filtered Fuel Tank Level higher than 45%
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles.
