Repair Procedures: Removal

Perform the oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the KDS when replacing with a new TCM.

Click the "Oil-pressure Characteristics Backup & Input (TCU Replacement)".

Check the condition and then click the "OK".

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
Remove the glove box housing.
(Refer to Body - "GLOVE BOX HOUSING ")
Remove the surround view monitoring unit.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "SURROUND VIEW MONITORING UNIT ")
Remove the TCM (B) after disconnecting the TCM connector (A).
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
