Repair Procedures: Removal

Perform the oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the KDS when replacing with a new TCM.

Remove the battery.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
Remove the TCM (C) by loosening bracket mounting bolt (A) and nut (B) after disconnecting the TCM connector (D).
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
