DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring - Low voltage (TPS2)
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open in power circuit/short to ground
  • Signal circuit short to ground
  • Faulty TPS
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • TPS2 voltage < 0.12 volts
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.05 Seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 Driving cycle
