DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CMP signal is same 0 and no tooth (edge) detected
  • Poor connector connection
  • Abnormal assembling state
  • CMPS - In (Bank 1)
  • CMPS incorrectly installed
  • Damaged CMPS shielding
  • CMP circuit shorted to other CMP circuits
Enable Conditions
  • Missing tooth in crankshaft detected no CKP sensor error (P033500/P033600)
Threshold Value
  • Counter of no CMP signal changing per 2 crankshaft revolution is greater than 4 times
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
