DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • ECU internal engine off timer performance
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • EMS running until 30s after Ignition "OFF"
Threshold Value
  • Absolute value of difference between timer value and CPU time value is greater than 9.5%
  • Compare the time value difference between CPU and PCA21125 (soak timer) every 40s
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
