DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC Strategy
  • LIN communication with alternator
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short in circuit
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is greater than 10.8V
  • Time after engine start is greater than 1s
Threshold Value
  • Duration of communication lost with alternator is over 5s
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
