Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON".	ETC motor & TPS connector	3 (TPS supply)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 5V
	ETC motor & TPS connector	6 (TPS1 signal)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 5V
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	ETC motor & TPS connector	6 (TPS1 signal)	Chassis ground	-	∞ (infinity)Ω
	ETC motor & TPS connector	6 (TPS1 signal)	ECM connector	98 (TPS1 signal)	Approx. below 1Ω
	ETC motor & TPS connector	5 (ground)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. below 1Ω

Good

Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.

No Good

Repair or replace as necessary and then, Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
