DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check, characteristic line shift lean
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short circuit
  • HO2S (Bank1, Sensor1)
  • HO2S (Bank1, Sensor2)
  • Blocked in intake system
  • Faulty injector
  • oversupply of fuel
Enable Conditions
  • Modelled catalyst temperature is between 350 and 900°C (662 and 1652°F)
  • ECT is greater than 55°C (131°F)
  • Required lambda is same as 1
  • Exhaust mass flow is between 4.2 and 55.6g/s
  • Accumulated exhaust gas mass is greater than 150g
Threshold Value
  • Secondary control variable by downstream O2 sensor is less than -0.08%
Diagnostic Time
  • 10s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
