DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check, stuck lean (oscillation check)
  • Poor connector connection
  • HOS2 (Bank1, Sensor2)
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is greater than 10.7V
  • Oscillation check
  • Required lambda: lambda = 0.8 for 8s
  • Downstream O2S voltage is less than 0.76V for 95s
  • Closed loop fuel control "ON"
  • Catalyst temperature (model) is between 350 and 925°C (662 and 1697°F)
  • Intake airflow is higher than 6.9g/s
  • EGT around downstream O2S (model) is greater than 350°C (662°F)
  • Downstream O2S voltage (readiness for operation of downstream O2S) is between 0.4 and 0.5V
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2S voltage is lower than 0.815V
Diagnostic Time
  • 10s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
