DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check on a CAN communication
  • Poor connector connection
  • CAN bus
    • Open or short circuit
  • ECM
  • HECU
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Normal battery voltage (10 to 16V)
Threshold Value
  • When a CAN message comes from HECU is not received for 2s
Diagnostic Time
  • 2s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
