DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check CAN communication with HECU
  • Poor connector connection
  • CAN communication line between HECU and ECM
  • Faulty HECU
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 9 and 16V
  • Time after Ignition "ON" is greater than 1s
  • Engine speed is greater than 32RPM
Threshold Value
  • CAN message lost from HECU for more than 2s
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
