DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check, EWGA position error
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty EWGA
  • Faulty EWGA internal circuit
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Engine coolants temperature is higher than 50°C (122°F)
  • Ambient air temperature is higher than -10°C (14°F)
Threshold Value
  • Difference between target position and actual position is higher than 9 to 100%
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.4s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
