Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON".	MAPS connector	1 (IAT signal)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 5V
	MAPS connector	2 (ground)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 0V
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	MAPS connector 1	(IAT signal)	Chassis ground	-	∞ (infinity)Ω
	MAPS connector	1 (IAT signal)	ECM connector	16 (IAT signal)	Approx. below 1Ω

Good

Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.

No Good

Repair or replace as necessary and then, Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
