Repair Procedures: Removal

Information 

Replace together the oil cooler and hose supplied as a module unit.

  1. Drain the coolant by removing the drain plug.

    (Refer to " Replacement and Air Bleeding  ") 

  2. Remove the engine room under cover.

    (Refer to " Removal And Installation  ") 

  3. Separate the oil cooler hose (A).

    NOTE: Use a beaker for receiving residual coolant, when separating the hose.
  4. Remove the air duct (A).

  5. Separate the Intercooler inlet hose (A).

    NOTE: When disconnect the intercooler outlet hose, pull out the quick connector clamp (A) in the direction of the arrow as shown in the image below.

  6. Separate the oil cooler hose (A).

  7. Remove the oil cooler module (A) after removing the bolts.

    Tightening torque:  

    19.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.0 - 2.7 kgf.m, 14.4 - 19.5 lb.ft)

    NOTE: When removing the oil cooler, be careful not to spill any residual oil from the inside.
