Repair Procedures: Disassembly

  1. Remove the alternator cover (A).

  2. Remove the regulator assembly (A) after removing the mounting bolts.
    NOTE: When removing, be careful not to damage the surrounding parts.

  3. Remove the OAP cap (A).

    NOTE: When installing, replace with new OAP cap.
  4. Remove the OAP pulley (A) by using a SST (09373-27000).

  5. Remove the rectifier (A) after removing the stator lid.

  6. Remove the bolts (A).

  7. Separate the rotor (A) and housing (B).
