DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal plausibility with lean mixture check
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short or open in downstream O2 sensor signal circuit
  • Faulty downstream O2 sensor
Enable Condition
  • Sensor element resistance is less than 1 kΩ
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (10 to 16V)
  • Integrated mass air flow since fuel cut off begin is between 16 to 250g
  • Integrated mass air flow since last fuel cut off is greater than 450g
Threshold Value
  • Oxygen sensor is greater than 0.2V
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.5s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
