DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Heater resistance check
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short to ground in power circuit
  • Damaged or corroded terminals
  • HO2S (bank1, sensor2) heater
Enable Condition
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (11 to 16V)
  • Time after sensor heating is greater than 1s
  • Engine off duration is greater than 1 hour
Threshold Value
  • Sensor internal resistance is between 1 to 25kΩ
Diagnostic Time
  • 20s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
