DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check (Air mass signal)
  • Poor Connection
  • Faulty MAFS circuit
  • Faulty MAFS
  • Short to power or open circuit
Enable Condition
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (10 to 16V)
  • Time after Ignition on greater than 0.8s
Threshold Value
  • Period counter of air mass signal = 0
  • Output air mass signal is greater than 3.27V
Diagnostic Time
  • 2s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
