DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Enable Conditions Case1
  • ECT at engine start is less than 76°C (168°F)
  • Auxiliary battery voltage (6 to 16V)
Case2
  • ECT at engine start is greater than 76°C (168°F)
  • Auxiliary battery voltage (11 to 16V)
  • IAT at engine start is between -10 to 70°C (14 to 168°F)
  • Ambient air temperature is greater than -10°C (14°F)
  • Ambient air temperature is greater than -10°C (14°F)
    • Engine speed is greater than 1400rpm
    • Vehicle speed is greater than 19km/h (22MPH)
    • Mass air flow is greater than 5.5g/s
  • Low load driving condition
  • Fuel cut off or idle with vehicle speed is less than 19km/h (12MPH)
Case3
  • Auxiliary battery voltage (6 to 16V)
  • Engine stop time is greater than 6 hour
  • Engine coolant temperature decrease in 35s after start is less than 1.4°C (34.5°F)
Threshold Value Case1
  • When the measured coolant temperature increase value is less than 0.75°C (33°F) to 35°C (95°F) (Value changes according to coolant temperature at initial engine start)
Case2
  • ECT variation since engine start is less than 2.25°C (36°F)
Case3
  • The difference between ECT and IAT or NAT is greater than 20°C (68°F)
  • The difference between IAT and NAT is less than 20°C (68°F)

  • 2 driving cycles
