DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the signal stuck
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty fuel level sender
  • FPCM
Enable Condition
  • Cumulated fuel consumption more than 5.28 gal (20L) [30% of tank capacity]
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (11 to 16V)
Threshold Value
  • Filtered fuel tank level signal change less than 5% (after 20L of fuel consumption)
Diagnostic Time
  • 20L fuel consumption
MIL ON Condition
  • 40L fuel consumption
