DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Noisy signal monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short to battery in fuel level sender signal circuit
  • Faulty FPCM
Enable Condition
  • Vehicle speed higher than 35.4km/h (22mph)
  • Vehicle speed gradient is less than 0.5% (during 20s)
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (11 to 16V)
Threshold Value
  • When the difference between the filtered fuel level and the actual fuel level is greater than 45%
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
