Intake/Exhaust System For Restriction Or Leakage

Inspection Procedure 

1. Visually and/or physically inspect following conditions;
   • Vacuum hoses for splits, kinks and improper connections.
   • Positive crankcase ventilation valve for improper installation, damaged O-rings and malfunction.
   • Good ECM ground connections.
   • Contamination, deterioration, poor connection or damaged MAP sensor and ECT sensor harness.
2. Has any problems been found?

   Good 

   • Go to "THREE-WAY CATALYTIC CONVERTER INSPECTION " procedure.

   No Good 

   • Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
